11 days Shanxi and Henan Trip-Hanging Temple and Yingxian wooden pagoda and Remains of the Ming wall Trip (14th of April)

After finished the Datong trip, we drove down to Hyunyuan County to visit the Hanging Temple. It is the must-see highlight in Datong, if you go to visit Shanxi, do not miss this temple. It is unique in China, old enough and still can climb up, we worried we can not climb up in the future. Please see the picture. How beautiful and amazing temple.

After the noodle lunch, we head to Yingxian wooden pagoda, walk around the pagoda and not allowed to climb up. But it is also impressive sights with much more big wooden unit. Which is name Dougong. More than 45 kinds of Dougong.

Then we drive to Wutaishan, due the guests did not plan to visit Wutaishan, so we drove to The remain of the Ming Great Wall at Guanwu village. It is long clay wall and some part still with brick outside, we walked on the wall a bit and Down to village to talk with local farmer and know the story about the wall and village. I got the guy’s telephone number just in case I arrange the Great Wall hiking, he will be my guide.

Then head to Wutaishan, stay at Jinglianghua Hotel. We had dinner here, but not recommend. Just for one night stop so did not search more around.
